The Animal Republic operates a automated custom manufacturing ecosystem via Printful. This document defines our structural boundaries concerning order modifications, customer sizing liability, defect remediation, and international data protection compliance.

The Animal Republic (hereafter “the Store”) operates a decentralized, automated custom manufacturing ecosystem integrated with the Printful API on a WooCommerce architecture. Every single transaction executed on this platform triggers the creation of a bespoke consumer asset. Because the Store maintains zero physical inventory and every item is custom-printed to order across a catalog of over 500 animal graphics, the following terms govern all purchases.

By completing a transaction and checking the mandatory terms acknowledgment box at checkout, the purchasing party (hereafter “the Customer”) enters into an irrevocable, legally binding agreement with the Store.

Print-on-Demand Manufacturing Matrix and Cancellations

A. Automated Production Pipelines

Upon checkout completion, order metadata is transmitted via programmatic API calls directly to Printful fulfillment centers located across North America and Europe. Production allocation, textile preparation, and printing lines initiate dynamically.

B. Immutable Two-Hour Modification/Cancellation Window

Because processing occurs programmatically, the Store enforces a strict, non-negotiable two-hour (120-minute) operational window post-purchase for any changes.

  • Pre-Cutoff (Within 120 Minutes): Requests for address corrections, size alterations, graphic swaps, or absolute order cancellations must be sent to admin@theanimalrepublic.com within 120 minutes of the order timestamp. These will be processed without financial penalty.
  • Post-Cutoff (After 120 Minutes): Once the 120-minute threshold expires, order payloads integrate into the physical manufacturing queues. At this juncture, production cannot be intercepted, suspended, or reversed. The Customer assumes absolute financial liability for the order as submitted; no cancellations or modifications can be executed.

FORMAL POLICY ANCHOR FOR ACQUIRING BANKS & DISPUTE ANALYSTS:
THE ANIMAL REPUBLIC ENFORCES A STRICT POLICY OF NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS, AND NO EXCHANGES FOR REASONS OF BUYER’S REMORSE, INTELLECTUAL MISUNDERSTANDING, OR INCORRECT SIZING SELECTION. EACH ITEM IS A CUSTOM-MANUFACTURED ASSET. THIS DOCUMENTATION IS SUBMITTED TO DIRECTLY REFUTE CLAIMS OF “PRODUCT NOT AS DESCRIBED” OR “UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION.”

A. Customer Sizing Accountability

Comprehensive, highly accurate sizing tables detailing physical dimensions (width, length, and manufacturing tolerances) are displayed prominently storewide and are directly accessible on every product page. It is the sole structural responsibility of the Customer to consult these metrics prior to purchase. Variations within industry-standard manufacturing tolerances of up to 1 inch (2.54 cm) do not qualify as a product defect.

B. Affirmation of Assent

The WooCommerce gateway restricts final payment execution until the Customer actively selects the mandatory checkbox affirming compliance with these terms. This affirmative action constitutes clear, prior consent to the bespoke nature of the item and explicitly waives any subsequent right to claim remediation due to sizing errors, dynamic multi-currency conversion adjustments, or subjective dissatisfaction.

Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Goods Protocol

The Store recognizes that manufacturing anomalies or transit damages may occasionally occur within the Printful production framework. To protect consumers against legitimate structural errors, a strict replacement pathway is maintained.

A. Verification Requirements and Filing Deadlines

To qualify for a complimentary, factory-backed replacement of a damaged or misprinted asset, the Customer must submit an administrative ticket to admin@theanimalrepublic.com within thirty (30) calendar days of the carrier-validated delivery date. The submission must include:

  • The original numeric WooCommerce Order ID.
  • High-resolution photographic evidence clearly capturing the specific physical defect, structural textile tear, or printing alignment error.
  • A clear photograph of the shipping label affixed to the original packaging to verify batch and fulfillment origin data.

B. Exclusion from Remedy

This replacement protocol strictly excludes claims arising from customer mishandling, unauthorized modifications, improper laundering, normal wear and tear, or dynamic destination address entry errors made by the user at checkout. Approved claims result exclusively in a factory-backed production replication of the original item ordered; monetary refunds will not be issued under any circumstances.

Cross-Border Regulatory Data Privacy Framework

The Store operates in global alignment with international data privacy standards, governing the processing of users located within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United States.

A. Data Collection, Tracking Pixels, and Cookie Logs

To optimize storefront performance within the WordPress/Blocksy architecture, the Store deploys persistent and session-based identifiers, tracking pixels (including Meta, Google, and Pinterest scripts), and server-side cookie logs. This data capture monitors navigational traffic, cart abandonment behaviors, and user engagement metrics.

B. Regulatory Compliance Mandates (GDPR and CCPA)

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): For citizens of the European Union, the legal basis for processing personal information is the execution of a contract (fulfilling orders) and legitimate commercial interests.   • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): California residents maintain the right to know what personal data is harvested, to request deletion of said data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. The Store does not sell consumer data to third-party brokers; data transfers occur strictly to execute manufacturing logistics via Printful and securely process checkouts.

C. Secure Checkout Architecture and Transaction Protocol

All financial metadata processed through our dynamic multi-currency checkout is encrypted via Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols. Financial information is routed directly to PCI-DSS compliant processing gateways (Stripe, PayPal). The Store never archives, retains, or logs raw credit card numbers or sensitive CVV tokens within its native WordPress database.

Logistics, Carrier Validation, and Import Liability

A. Carrier Tracking and Title Transfer

The Store’s legal obligation regarding product delivery is fulfilled entirely upon the shipping carrier’s (e.g., DHL, FedEx, USPS, DPD) publication of a “Delivered” tracking milestone status. The Store bears no liability for:

  • Package theft post-delivery (“porch piracy”).
  • Localized postal carrier operational inefficiencies.
  • Delivery failures resulting from faulty address metadata provided by the Customer.

B. Importation Duties, Tariffs, and Localized Taxes

Although administrative operations are conducted out of the Philippines, product fulfillment and shipping logistics originate globally via Printful’s automated production hubs across North America and Europe. For cross-border transactions, the Customer operates as the definitive Importer of Record. As such, any localized value-added taxes (VAT), import tariffs, customs duties, or clearance handling fees levied by destination border authorities are the exclusive financial liability of the Customer. Refusal to settle customs fees resulting in a package being abandoned or destroyed by the carrier constitutes a total forfeiture of the asset, and no refund or replacement will be provided.

Governing Law and Resolution Venue

These policies are governed, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the consumer protection and commercial statutory laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions, arbitrations, or judicial proceedings arising from transactions executed on this platform must be filed within a competent court of jurisdiction located in the Philippines.
